The ACT is a standardized test widely used for Undergrad College admissions in the United States and top colleges in other countries. The test is conducted by ACT incorporation; American Testing Company is the full form of this US based non-profit organization. The purpose of the ACT test is to measure a high school student's readiness for college, and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.
Since September 2018, ACT is a computer based test. ACT had designed the computer based test such that students do not have much difference in taking the test as computer based rather than paper pencil test. Online tools such as Highlighter, Line Reader, Magnifier, Answer masking and Answer Elimination are much useful for the students, particularly for questions based on passages and graphs. Within the test, students can move around. Navigation bar helps to pick the question which they like to do.

The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. It assesses students' academic readiness for college.
The ACT includes four mandatory sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. There is also an optional Writing (essay) section.
Each of the four sections is scored on a scale of 1 to 36. The composite score is the average of these four sections. The optional Writing section is scored separately on a scale of 2 to 12.
It's recommended to start preparing at least 3-6 months before your test date. This allows ample time to cover all topics, take practice tests, and identify areas for improvement.
