TestAS (Test for Academic Success) is intended for international study applicants planning to do undergraduate studies at German Universities. The test is a central standardised scholastic aptitude test which measures intellectual abilities particularly important for university studies.
TestAS is offered by GAST, Society for Academic Study Preparation and Test Development.
TestAS is conducted in German and English. Upon registration, test takers select the language. The complete test will be in either German or in English. The Core Test and the Subject-Specific Test Modules are in multiple choice formats. TestAS is available on two formats: Digital and Paper test. Both in the test centre only, there is no home testing for TestAS.
During their registration, participants choose one out of the following four subject specific modules:
TestAS have on-screen language test for 30 minutes which is not taken for scoring purpose.

TestAS has a core test, languague test and a subject specific test.
TestAS can be taken in authorised testing facilities all throughout the world.
A student can take Test AS thrice a year.

No, a student must complete one subject-specific module in addition to the Core Test and Language test.
yes, the TestAS can be repeated any number of times.
TestAS is offered in German and English. It is up to a student to decide which language they want to use.
First you have to register online on the official website. After registering, you will get a confirmation on e mail. With your user name and password and the test centre of your choice, you can next schedule a test date.
The deadline for registration and booking is about five weeks prior to the TestAS exam date.
The test result can be viwed by logging into the TestAS website with the student user name and password. The paper based Test AS is visible in four weeks and digital TestAS is uploaded in two weeks.
The validity of the score is unlimited for the TestAS exam.
You can log into the TestAS website at any time and print out as many copies as you like.
Ther are two steps to register for the AP exam. You have to register on the collegeboard.org website by logging in to you account. You can use the same account which you would have created for the SAT registeration or can create a new accoun the college board website. You must also register on the test center for the AP exam and pay the fees to the test center directly. The AP exam fees cannot be paid on the collegeboard website. Both the steps are required to confirm your AP exam registration.
