    Paper Based TestAS Structure

    The TestAS consists of two main parts:

    • Core Test
    • Subject-Specific Test Modules

    Paper Based Core Test

    Paper Based Core Test measures the cognitive skills which are of utmost importance to succeed In Bachelors Program.

    It has four Sub Tests:

    1. Solving Quantitative Problems:

      It has 25 questions which students must complete in 45 minutes. It consists of mathematical calculations and simple arithmetic questions. In this subtest of TestAs you get around 2min per question.
    1. Inferring Relationships:

      In this subtest you get 22 questions and 10 minutes to solve them, which means 27 seconds per question. This subtest tests your vocabulary, reasoning, and English grammar understanding.
    1. Completing Pattens:

      In this subtest you get 22 questions and 25 minutes to solve, I.e. 5 minutes to read and 20 minutes to solve which means per question you get just 55 seconds.
    1. Continuing Numerical Series:

      In this subtest you get 22 question and 30 minutes to solve, i.e. 5 minutes to read and 25 minutes to solve which means 68 seconds to solve each question.

    Subject-Specific TestAs Modules of Paper Based TestAS

    You can choose one subject-specific module based on your intended field of study. Each module lasts 145 to 150 minutes. There are 4 subject- specific available modules

    1. Engineering: Tests knowledge in mathematics, physics, and technology. This Module has 3 subtests and you get 150 minutes to complete it.
    • Formalizing Technical Interrelationships
    • Visualizing Solids
    • Analyzing Technical Interrelationships
    1. Economics: Focuses on economic concepts, graphs, and statistical information in this testAs Module you get 150 minutes to solve two subtests.
    • Analyzing Economics interrelationships
    • Analyzing the Processes
    1. Humanities, Cultural Studies, and Social Sciences: Evaluates analytical and interpretative skills. This Module you get 150 minutes to complete 3 subtests
    • Understanding and interpreting Texts
    • Using representation Systems Flexibly
    • Recognizing Linguistic Structures
    1. Mathematics, Computer Science, and Natural Sciences: Assesses understanding of scientific concepts and problem-solving abilities.

    This module you get 2 subtests and 145 minutes to complete.

    • Analyzing Scientific Interrelationships
    • Understanding Formal Depictions

    Digital TestAs

    Core Test of Digital Test is of 90 minutes and has 3 subtests

    • Figure Sequences: It has 22 questions and 25 minutes to complete.
    • Mathematical Equations: It has 22 questions and 25 minutes to complete.
    • Latin Squares: It has 22 questions and 25 minutes to complete.

    In Digital TestAs you get six subject-specific modules to choose from

    • Humanities, Cultural Studies, and Social Sciences
    • Mathematics, Computer Science, and Natural Sciences
    • Economics
    • Engineering

    These four Modules are present in paper-based TestAs also. However, In Digital TestAs you get 2 extra subject- specific modules. They are:

    • Life Science
    • Medicine
